The first of a new group of trolley buses has arrived in Winnipeg and is now in operation. This is the first of eight new buses ordered by Winnipeg Electric Co. about a year ago. The other seven are expected at regular intervals from now on.

The new buses are of the latest type and contain many additional conveniences compared with the pre-war models. They cost $22,000 each.

This new equipment will be used for the extension of trolley bus service over Salter St. Bridge connecting with a westerly branch on Mountain Ave.
