The changes in Brief:
Adult Tickets changed from from 2 for 25c to 7 for $1.00
Adult Cash fare remains unchanged at 15c
Weekly Permit changed from 25c to 45c with first ride free
and same 10c fare thereafter
Monthly Transit Tickets increased from $9.65 to $10.50 and
their use extended to include all zone fare routes
Children's and Zone tickets changed from 5 for 25c to 5 for 30c
SCHEDULE OF FARES IN DETAILStudents, not over 18 years of age attending Elementary and
High Schools, upon presentation of student's card,
may ride for children's fare on school days only between 8.00
a.m. and 5.00 p.m. generally and up to 6.00 p.m. at
stop nearest to school in which student is enrolled. Children
under 5 years of age when in care of a fare paying
passenger may ride free.
Transfers Free - Issued only if requested at time of payment of
fare. Folded up, crumpled or mutilated
transfers may be refused.
Depending on the number of rides taken per week.
Up to 8 rides per week -- Tickets at 7 for $1.00
From 9 to 20 rides per week -- Weekly permit.
Over 20 rides per week -- Monthly Transit Ticket.
This fare schedule has been designed to limit the increase to regular riders to 20c per week.
After April 14 present tickets may be redeemed at the

The Monthly Transit Ticket is the most economical fare to
use on zone fare
routes when passenger rides from City Fare Area --
