My faith in city council, the little I had, has been utterly shattered. I thought council would have enough of a heart to consider making it easy once again for seniors and students to ride Transit to and from school and their appointments for a reasonable fare.

But I was wrong.

Councillors who voted against the motion to reinstate the cash fare back to 85 cents, I hope you can sleep well, and hope that your conscience will bother you about this for a very long time to come. The decision by hal of council to not reinstate the Transit discount cash fare will come back to haunt those members this year at election time.
